Job Title: Customer Service Representative (Call Center - Banking/Finance)

Location: Carmel Mountain / Central San Diego

Employment Type: Full-Time, Mon-Fri 40 hrs

Schedule: Monday - Friday, call center open 7am - 6pm, shifts will be within that time

Pay Rate: $24/hr - $26/hr


About the Role

We are seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative with experience in the banking or financial services industry to join a growing call center team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service, resolving inquiries, and supporting a range of financial products and services.


Key Responsibilities

  • Handle high-volume inbound and/or outbound calls in a professional and efficient manner
  • Assist customers with account inquiries, transactions, and service requests
  • Resolve issues related to banking products (accounts, credit cards, loans, online banking, etc.)
  • Educate customers on financial products, services, and digital tools
  • Accurately document customer interactions in CRM systems
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and security procedures
  • Identify opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments when needed

Required Qualifications

  • 1-3+ years of call center or customer service experience
  • Prior experience in banking, financial services, or fintech is required
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality and accuracy
  • Problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset
